Our CGHS desk registers you, determines your ward entitlement, and initiates cashless billing directly with CGHS from the first day.
Treatment is cashless for all covered procedures, medicines, and tests during the admission period. Any non-covered items — such as premium implants or non-formulary medicines — are discussed with you transparently and in writing before being administered. Daily updates are given to the patient and family. For diabetic patients admitted under Dr. Bhansali, blood sugar monitoring and insulin adjustments are managed by the endocrinology team round the clock.
On discharge, Gini's billing team prepares the complete discharge summary, all bills, and CGHS claim documentation in CGHS-compliant format. The cashless claim is submitted directly to CGHS by Gini. You do not pay and claim back — it is cashless from day one of admission to discharge. Any approved follow-up prescriptions and CGHS reimbursement documents are provided to you at discharge.

Bring your latest PPO (Pension Payment Order) or pay slip to confirm your ward entitlement. You are entitled to the ward corresponding to your pay/pension level — you cannot be asked to settle for a lower category.
If you are entitled to a semi-private or private ward, you are not required to stay in a general ward — insist on your entitlement. Gini has general, semi-private, and private ward options available under CGHS.
Emergency rule: No CGHS beneficiary can be denied emergency treatment at an empanelled hospital for lack of documents. Treatment first, paperwork after.
